Never answered the phone or returned my answerphone message. This review is solely based upon the fact that the site didn't return our phone call to book which is poor. I phoned at 6pm which you'd expect still to be working hours for a campsite that would still be welcoming guests that night. I left a message as instructed by the answer phone and was clear and concise. I expected at the very least to be contacted the next morning. I tried phoning again and still received no reply. Very poor. We went somewhere else.

Very friendly owners who gave us a warm welcome on arrival. It's a small site in lovely condition, very clean and well-kept, only about a mile from the centre of Wells-next-the-Sea. There's a good Co-op about 1/2 mile away. Points to note: 1. No electric hook-up - this is clearly stated and wasn't a problem for us but worth bearing in mind. 2. It's on a main road, which isn't that busy, but cars do make a bit of noise as they pass, particularly if you have a pitch next to the road (pitches 1-9 I think). 3. When we stayed, there was no hot water in the main toilet block, although the showers were fine, as was the other smaller toilet facility. Don't know if this is a permanent thing or just a temporary issue. 4. It's meant to be a quiet site from 10pm but there's no-one around to enforce this...so we had children running around screaming until 1030pm whilst their parents sat around drinking and talking ever louder (until 1130pm). Pretty disappointing - my feedback to the campsite owners would be to either have the rule and enforce it or drop it so as to manage everyone's expectations. All in all, a pleasant experience and we would go back, but definitely with ear plugs!

A great place to camp/ caravan/motorhome..5minute walk to the sea wall and 10 minute walk into the town centre..fabulous 10 inch steam railway over the fence which goes to Walsingham 4 miles away ..

Lovely campsite in a great location. Easy 10 - 15 min walk to Wells harbour accross fields. Road is quite busy/noisy but it didn't matter too much (take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper). Other campers were nice people and facilities were as clean as could be. Staff were really nice and friendly, thank you we will be back in the summer!

Stayed here for a few nights last year. My daughters have been asking to come back ever since. A lovely, clean, traditional campsite. It took me back to my own childhood! The owners are incredibly friendly too.
