Flying visit literally! Very convenient for the airport, but a little noisy depending on what side you're on. Pretty standard HI rooms so you know what you're getting, comfortable and pretty reasonably sized, although I had a double plus sofa bed, which was made down even though the room was only booked for one. The only criticism is that good service stops at 10pm if I recall correctly, so if you arrive late you can't eat at the hotel, although there are other options locally. Breakfast was very good and plentiful again, as expected from HI.
We had our twilight wedding here back in September 2019 and my dad has stayed in this hotel since then. Staff are very helpful, rooms are clean. We had a lovely room next to the runway and didn't hear any planes. Food is delicious, beds are comfortable.Rooms: 5/5
Room was big and clean. Staff on reception was very welcoming. Great evening at a Christmas party, only fault, they squeezed tables in that we couldn’t move. One staff member that stood out over. All others was the lovely Summer. She looked after us from the afternoon in the var, throughout the evening into early hours then again at breakfast. She was polite, professional, nothing was too much for her, she’s a credit to the team, well done summer.
We chose this hotel last minute during the queens jubilee celebrations to extend our trip visiting family in the area, and i am glad we did. We were checked in easily, into the lift and onto a very clean room and bathroom, great shower pressure! Big soundproof window overlooking the airport was cool to watch the planes do their thing, we decided to have room service from the restaurant menu and it was lovely food and fast service, the night before we were due to leave we decided to pop the thing on the door to order breakfast in bed to set us up for our day to checkout and our long journey home, and it was lovely arrived at the time we chose and served with a smile, we both ordered continental and full cooked breakfasts for the price it seemed well worth it to just get everything and it really did set our day off right! Shortly after eating we were packed and back down at reception trying to pay for our breakfast and check out, and to our suprise the lady said the breakfast was on them as the bill hadnt come down yet and they hoped we enjoyed our stay and were going to choose them again next time, and rightly so we will, thank you guys for making it a breeze we will be back
