Great location en route to Cornwall. Really lovely staff, clean room, comfy bed. Bar open late with good range of drinks and cheerful barman. Good selection of breakfast items. Third stay here. Will stay again.

We'll situated near the Met office with a Miller and carter's nextdoor and a Brewers fayre up the rd Subway and Domino's in easy reach too. The room was comfortable with Ironing facilities and an effective heater. Complimentary tea/coffee was there also. The included buffet breakfast was very tasty especially the sausages. Milk, Orange and Apple Juice on tap. A number cereals including Coco pops and the usual croissants. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the cleaning team was very polite. Overall a good experience low fuss venue ideal for a couple of nights stop with eating out facilities close by.

We were greeted warmly by the staff at the front desk, and we found the room to be exactly what we needed. While it was cold outside, the climate control was easy to understand, and didn't make the air feel dry as some do. It was cleaned wonderfully each day. The all you can eat breakfast was delicious, with a good amount of choice. If you have room after breakfast, there are a couple places to eat nearby. There is a frequent (every 12 minutes) bus to the centre of Exeter as well. This hotel was great value for money for us.

This is a great hotel and s convenient location for visiting the West Country. This is the third year running I have used this hotel. Staff are always great and friendly. It has a surprisingly well stocked bar for such a small hotel. Prices for rooms are competitive. Breakfast was not quite as good year, but the value room charge, including, which includes breakfast means my expectations are not that hight. I recommend this hotel and will choose to stay again in the future.

My wife and I have stayed in this hotel twice to break our journey from Hertfordshire to Cornwall. Both times it has been excellent value, very clean and the staff are very efficient and friendly. Recommended
