Severe pot hole as you come into car park. Beware. Definitely has the capacity to damage your car. I will also be posting this in a review of the beefeater pub.nnService was lovely from the person on reception.nRooms are as you’d expect from premier inn - not sure what else you’d ever need in a room. Tea / coffee / clean bathroom / comfy bed.nnGarage across the road for bits. Tesco superstore 5 mins drive away. Bus stop to Exeter centre right outside, £2 single fare.nnNot sure on why you need to advise the premier inn if you want to eat in the pub other than if it offered you discount? Anyway we didn’t try the pub attached we had a Tesco dinner.nOverall I’d recommend this premier inn.
A friendly greeting when we arrived and quickly checked in. The room was comfortable if a little warm. The restaurant was excellent and all food freshly cooked. The beer I had, Doombar, was lovely from the tap and subsequent wine very nice. Prices very reasonable. Overnight our room at the back of the hotel overlooked the park and was very quiet, delightful. We stayed on the night of 10th September. Breakfast, again freshly prepared, was generous. And most enjoyable. Great place to stay if you want to visit Exeter, city centre a bus ride away.
Room smelt of damp and there was stains on the furniture. I had breakfast booked, only to find out in the morning that the chef was off sick, so no hot breakfast was being served? This caused me to be delayed and therefore I had to rush to check out, accidently leaving behind valuable property, as a result. Multiple calls back to the hotel and every time I'm told somebody else will call me back, since nobody apparently knows where the lost and found property is.
Nice inside, rooms smaller than normal. Outside somewhat tatty and needs litter pick and some litter bins. If you get directed to your room through the car park, I suggest just walk the corridor instead after dark. The is a large children's playground behind the hotel, entrance off bridge road beside the pedestrian bridge. Handy for Exe Cycle route, there are pelican crossings to get over the busy road
Just stayed at Premier Inn Tiverton. This review is only referring to the breakfast service because Vanessa needs a special mention. Just, wow!nIt was a full breakfast service and nothing was too much trouble for her. She single handedly dealt with every table. Her smile never faded, she engaged with everyone, young and old. She replenished everything without complaint which for a confined area was quite frequent. She deserves recognition for the service she provided. She was an absolute delight to deal with and to watch in action!
