A nice set up, it looks as though it has had a lot of recent upgrading , new stands and an artificial pitch. There is a really amazing structure behind one goal that looks really old but well preserved. There is a good burger hut which also sells souvenirs. The ground is not easy to find but has a reasonably size car park
Went to a party there. The room was well done out. The drinks at the bar were cheap. The staff very friendly. No complaints about the hall or the football club. I would book my party there if I lived closer. The venue is a very professional place.
A nice ground, about a mile from Pitsea Tesco. The clubhouse entrance is outside the ground so go in first if you intend to go in before the match. Free raffle ticket with entry payment. Drawn at half time. Nice facilities. Good tea bar.nPleasant staff, and a generally enjoyable visit.
Great hot chocolate and a decent game of non league football!
The downside first, parking at the ground and on the nearby streets is very limited. The club themselves recommend parking at Eversley Leisure centre, what was the best option. There is though no obvious indication of how to get to the ground from there. It's only about 10 min walk though once you know the way. I have been to a lot worse stadiums in higher leagues, there's one large stand and two small stands opposite, with sheltered standing areas behind the goals. The staff were very friendly, the bar area was quite modern, the burger stall was a bit chaotic, some people's orders were taken and not passed to the kitchen, but it was the first match of the season so you expect teething troubles. It is a very nice ground, a good atmosphere and definitely worth a visit.
