I visited Holiday Inn Aylesbury recently for a business trip. I stay at IHG brand hotels regular and by comparison I would have to rate this stay as average. The reception area is welcoming and well decorated; and the staff are polite and helpful. In my view the guest rooms are the reason for not rating this stay higher. Whilst the rooms are spacious, they are overdue an upgrade to bring them into line of other, more modern, Holiday Inn hotels. They just feel tired and out-dated; and not in keeping with the public areas of this hotel.

The hotel rooms are a little old so they feel slightly run down. That said they were perfectly liveable. Staff were nice and friendly and the pool was good. The family rooms are a lot nicer than the twin rooms.

Rooms are Wide, clean and tidy.   The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Avoid this hotel in  winter  beause the heater does not  work properly and  is noisy. The swimming pool depth is very low and the water warm. Steam room sauna and Jacuzzi are very comfortable and clean. Restaurant is good.

A good hotel for most facilities. Needs a bit of decoration in access areas. Breakfast very good. Rooms reasonable size and need better air conditioning/ heating. Gym swimming pool small but useful. Staff all very helpful.

It's nice but somehow could be better. Here for work, so 7:30 weekend breakfast was too late. Both coffee machines broken too. And due to refurbishment, the pool was closed at 7 pm, so no chance of a swim after work.

Through work I've stayed here again a couple more times. The pool was open and good. The coffee machines were fixed, and the room I was in was nicer. Also, the breakfast staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful - seemed much nicer this time.
