Champneys Tring

Nice place for relaxing and recharging yourself from busy life and work. Stayed at a superior room which was a garden view with direct door access to the green land! Check in at 2.00pm, check out at 11am. 1 Nights Accommodation. Unlimited use of resort facilities. Up to 20 different classes per day, Nutritious Dinner, Breakfast & Lunch. After checking out at 11am, guests are all allowed to use all facilities until 4.00pm. Highly recommend you to bring someone you care about to enjoy a lovely day there!

Very disappointed with the whole booking experience. The waiting time is over 20 minutes. We were charged £20 to change our date of booking although we were giving them 3 weeks notice. Apparently this is in their terms and conditions. Another way of them trying to make money from an already expensive spa day. The booking staff were very unfriendly and very unsympathetic. I will never return as this has left a very sour taste in my mouth. A very average spa for a not so average price. There are much better spa days available and at much better prices.

It was really lovely. We visited Tring, the staff were all lovely, the food was great and the rooms etc. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because you have to pay extras.. like extras for tea and coffee, certain foods of the menu etc. For the expensive price to begin with it shouldn't be this way. However I got a facial with a lovely lady called Bee, it was great and she was so friendly!:)

Lovely hotel. Spa area and treatments are the best out of all the Champneys hotels. Food however is a little on the lean side, not enough selection either. Eastwell Manor has the best food by far.

Don't phone them. A 13 minute phone call cost me £8! Seems a tad unreasonable. I was on hold for 10 minutes before getting through as well. I might go there just to see how inundated with calls they are. They don't offer individual treatments, only day spa. That was all I wanted to know.
