Story

When Hockeys first started selling farm produce to the public our aim was to provide the highest quality at prices everyone could afford. 40 years on, this is still our aim & we provide a bespoke service that everyone can afford.

Laura and Jonny Burrell, along with Anne and Robin Norris, (Laura's parents) have just taken ownership of Hockey's Farm Shop. They are a local family; Anne and Robin first moved from Bartley to Poulner in the 60s, Laura and Jonny went to local schools. Along with other family members they intend to restore Hockey`s Farm Shop to its former glory whilst continuing to provide the top quality meat that Hockey's is known for. Nathan and his mum Kate, the butcher and shop manageress, remain employed by the family.

Jonny has many years' experience in the food trade and under his guidance the family plan is to bring fresh bread, milk, fruit, veg and newspapers, along with other fine and tasty food items to the shop.

Their plan is that Hockey's will, once again, become a focal point for the local community and a destination for those who enjoy quality food at affordable prices.
