Great selection of vinyl and great friendly staff. Fella working there found me exactly what I wanted so very happy.
Went there for the vinyls, was not disappointed. They also have huge collections of DVDs and CDs, but I was interested in the vinyls, which, to my surprise, were pretty much still alphabetically ordered, despite the dozens of people sifting through them. Quality products, good prices and such a helpful staff, 10/10
I visited the Westfield mall at shepherds bush station, and was visibly eased that HMV has a physical store there. I was a regular at their now closed Oxford street store where they had a huge selection of DVDs and Blue Ray discs. Big surprise was that most discs were 4K BRDiscs. Another surprise was that there was no separate section for Classical / Opera as there was in the Oxford street store, and they only stocked a few titles. Other than that, a great store, helpful staff, lots of new age t-shirts, modern music, vinyls and players, electronic accessories ...... go get some fun
This place is very nostalgic lots of opportunities to view collectables and pick great CDs of movies.
One of the few remaining stores, very large with lots of merchandise books, dvd, cd, vinyl. Although a large amount of display is Pop Vinyl and other expensive anime/Japanese merchandise that feels a bit overbearing and expensive.
i love this place, I like collecting CD's and one of the staff complimented my music taste. the staff are nice, the collection is very very good, and it's very local for me. I'm excited to coming back here with my friend in december so i can show him the records i like.
Amazing shop. Brings back memories of record stores. I'm surprised it has survived this long and wish it survives as long as possible!
Very friendly staff it's quite amazing a music store has managed to stay afloat but it seems like it's mainly carried by the sale of shirts, snacks and posters over all the store was big and check out was fast... So if you want a "Gamers never dies" skull cringe shirt you know the place to go!
One of my very favorite stops for all things music! A national treasure in many enriching ways. Great selections, upkeeping and prices.
Today, when I was shopping for vinyl, a shop assistant kept staring at me. It made me feel very uncomfortable. He also treated me in a strange, even spooky manner at the checkout. I was just hesitating about which vinyl to buy so I stayed a little longer, I was just plain dressed and didn't make up so I didn't look glamorous, I didn't mean to steal from you!!! but it looks like the shop assistant with his limited judgment thought I was a thief. It's really ridiculous and disrespectful. I hope this shop assistant can respect customers of different looks and races in the future and not judge people by their appearance.
