We went to Hipping hall while looking for wedding venues and fell in love with it. The staff are lovely, the grounds are beautifully landscaped (even in the rain!), and the bedrooms are stunningly finished. We haven't eaten here yet but from what we heard and saw it should be amazing.

Nice large rooms with comfy beds and large bathrooms. Good selection of whiskeys in the bar and excellent selection of wines. Tasting menu was a bit disappointment. Most of the dishes has at least one ingredient which was overpowering the rest and not ruined the whole dish. Cheese board was very good.

Excellent place to visit, lovely building superb food and great staff. Would not hesitate to visit again.

Our third visit, not our last! The eight course tasting menu was a dining adventure and the matched wine flight worked well. We stayed in the newly converted stable block which is up to their high standard and the staff, as always, were willing and cheerful.

Just a magical place from start to finish? Great room situated just off the main house with the comfiest bed ever and an amazing bathroom with lovely shower and bath. Walked outside to see the beautiful setting in the garden and the dined in the restaurant for the 8 course taster menu, had a cocktail in the bar to start and the bottle of red with the meal. Each dish just got better and better with the pork jowl being my particular favourite. Had coffee and tea bought to the room with orange cake. Had a lovely sleep and then woke up to a brilliant shower and then gorgeous breakfast of home made porridge followed by fantastic eggs royalle. Felt spoiled from start to finish well definitely be back!
