I booked the appointment after a friend recommended me the salon. I can definitely say I will repeat it after having my updo done by Sakura. Not only she executed a perfect job but even finished earlier than planned and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the appointment and that the bobby pins she placed to hold the french twist were not too tight so I would not get headaches. I have always been very special with who touch my hair, and can say I will definitely be coming back!Service:&nbsp;Updos

All staff were very friendly and kind,they will offer a drink to their customer and they will treat them like vip. Tom gave me a haircut which was even better than the one I originally wanted ,while working with attention to detail and offering me amazing advice on how to style my hair. Very glad with this choice and would definitely recommend Hikari to my friends and family.

I had a last minute haircut today and am so pleased! The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the stylist Sakura heard and understood exactly what I needed. Definitely recommend!!

I was travelling and didn't manage to get a haircut for a friend's wedding that I was attending. Because I only had one day to get my hair done, I made an urgent request for a haircut the same day. Tom was really professional and very attentive to the detail. We had a great chat and he gave very helpful tips on how to style my new haircut.  Overall I'm very satisfied and definitely coming back when I'm around! Thanks Tom!!

13/04/22 - Visited Hikari Salon after reading numerous google reviews. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed, with Tom taking my consultation. Tom is very skilled and was a pleasure to speak to. He managed to get exactly the colour I wanted for my hair while we chatted about how great Forest Gate was. I first went to this salon August 2019.  Hikari was recommended by a friend who goes there. My first appointment was with Awa and I have stayed with her ever since.  However I think anyone would do well with any of the stylists in this salon.  I have a very short cut  and have had many stylists over quite a few years! She is excellent! Her cutting technique is meticulous and thorough. She really understands what a good cut is. She is patient, kind and very professional.  All the staff are very friendly and the salon is clean and organised. I live between Italy and UK but always get my hair cut with Awa!Service:&nbsp;Hairstyling

I love my haircut, I can't stop playing with my hair.  Reiko is amazing. She listened to what I wanted and she did a great job. I totally trust her with my hair. Well worth the 45 minute journey each way to see her.

My perfect hairdresser - thoughtful and stylish cuts that always suit me in a lovely setting. The staff are always so wonderful and friendly. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and they did a great job for my wedding hair!
