I went in to renew my passport using the Digital Check and Send service as advertised as being offered at this branch. I was told that they could it BUT I'd have to supply my own photos. A big part of choosing this service is that the post office takes a passport-standard photo. The reason I was given is that the passport office doesn't accept post office photos. This is a blatant lie. I wonder if they would have charged the full amount if I'd gone back with my own photos? I have used this branch for years, but will be going to the Bromley Cross branch from now on. They completed the renewal application Inc. photo within 15 mins. If I could have left a zero star review, I would have. Don't lie to your customers and expect them to continue giving you their business.
Don’t answer phone and every-time I’ve been shutters have been down dispute google stating there opening hours. How am I supposed to get my parcels
I've use this place about 10 times over the years. The Young bearded man behind the counter was rude to me because I didn't know how heavy my large letter was - he then threw it across the room into the letter bin, it hit the side and my sister says it was broken when it arrived. Wasn't worth claiming on insurances - but the younger bearded man not the older bearded one was so rude and contemptuous. To quote an earlier poster "there is one older gentleman who occasionally serves, normally at the front and he is extremely friendly - you two behind the glass please learn from him." The friendly older gentleman gets 5/5 the rude contemptuous sultry young one gets 1/5
On three separate occasions I have gone to place money in to my bank account, rather than trying to park in Bolton Town Centre, and on three separate occasions they have tried to say I have given them less money than I have Clearly stated and counted. Having to stand there whilst they recount, again and again. Then stand checking the money, even after they know they are wrong - no apology- they just stand talking in another language. Very very Rude. Also they over charge on postage costs. I will never use again for any purpose.
The guy who works there is soo rude all the time and doesn't listen to u I always avoid this post office now dont even bother going there
I use this Post Office to put money in my account and occasionally to send boxes to Europe & USA. The staff are extremely polite and courteous, always friendly and happy to answer questions. A 5 Star rating from me, highly recommend.
This is my local post office and I always find the 2 men so helpful, especially one of them he always goes above and beyond! Even helped me send a huge parcel for a discounted price! Always has a presentable smiley face!!!
The service the Post Office provides is excellent, you can "do" all you need to at this branch. Two very helpful, smiley and enthusiastic guys were nothing is too much trouble. You are both doing a FANTASTIC job.
I cannot reccomend this post office highly enough. Very pleasant people. After visiting 2 other Bolton post offices with a V62 log book application form I called at Higher Blackburn Road post office. The staff were terrific they worked out the problem with my form and it was accepted. They are Professional and very knowledgeable Thank you for your efforts on my behalf b today
I have been using this Post office for several years. We use the post office most days, some times sending 2 or 3 items, sometimes 20 or more items the guys here are very friendly and knowledgeable of the Royal Mail services that they provide
