Gosh what a lovely car park!! Lots of spaces for such a busy area and great leads into the shops. I imagine it may be a different story on weekends. I felt very safe leaving our car here. Not difficult to locate back to either. We stayed shopping for just over an hour and paid £2.50 for our stay, not bad at all for a city car park next to such a large shopping centre. Great to see this car park is also 24h! Extremely convenient.
Been using an NCP car park for 6 months at around £4 per day with a seasonal pass. Had to endure grotty lifts, urine smells and human waste on the floor.nn£5 per day and great facilities with space for moving your car around feels like a big upgrade that's so far worth it. Please keep this offer going Highcross!
The car park spaces are normal width, can be tight at times driving up or down the floors. There are lifts and stairs down to the shopping centre below.nnYou don't pay at machines or we didn't see any, you pay by scanning a QR code and entering your details once you have finished your parking.nnI've taken one star away as it can be too busy at times and the roads going into the car park can become completey congested when the car park is busy. To mitigate this the car park had a attendant at the entrance stopping traffic from entering if it is full.
In my opinion the cleanest, safest and worry free car park in Leicester. Its patrolled by Highcross staff and never any issues with vandalism or crime related to vehicles.nA tad pricey, but worth every penny to know your cars safe and to feel safe when walking back to car.
I stayed at the nearby Travelodge from the 24th - 27th December and parked my car here from the 25th - 27th.nnNeither the QR code payment system or any of the pay machines could find my car registration which caused a very stressful situation. I took the advice from the qr code website which suggested going to the exit barrier which also didn't have my reg.nnThankfully the customer service button at the exit barrier worked and when I explained the situation they just let me through the barrier free of charge, which suggests this may be a common issue. Hopefully I don't get a random fine in the mail!
