Went for a Sunday roast, beef was nice however lamb was extremely chewy and fatty. Roast potatoes were frozen not fresh and yorkshire pudding was inedible. Veg was great and tasty, food was average and not reflective of price, paid around £20 for food alone and I've had much better for alot cheaper. Service was great very attentive and smiling staff which was a great positive.nI personally wouldn't recommend for Sunday roast in particular.
Great place for a drink.nNice crowd, slightly expensive but good atmospherenI’m told the food is good, especially the pie of the daynHad Christmas dinner there but could been having a bad day. Beef dishes were good but turkey dry and no yorkies or stuffing.nCheese board and deserts were good.
A pleasant experience on Easter Sunday. The place was buzzing in the evening where I was meeting a former work colleague for the first time in a decade. Friendly bar staff made the visit really enjoyable.
Very nice food and drink, great pub.
