Excellent all round. Mobile phone signal free zone (they importantly have WiFi though!), lovely cottage with large rooms in beautiful, secluded welsh countryside. Andy and Heulwen were very friendly hosts. Loads of eateries within 7-ish miles, Cross Foxes on the Friday night was very nice and worth a second visit. A good choice as an alternative to our usual Oswestry Travel Lodge! And a Parkrun 12 minutes drive away!!

Remote and relaxed. Most guest houses are just a place to lay your head and eat breakfast, but I could happily spend hours here, either sitting in the comfortable common room or in the garden admiring the lovely views. Huelwen and Andy are nice people, easy to talk to, friendly and genuinely interested in their guests and in their requirements. Our room (4) was very comfy, with a little sofa, and the shower was hot. Tea and coffee are supplied. There were plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Oh, and that lovely view out of the patio doors. We were able to come and go through those doors.. Very convenient! Outside, at night, it was virtually silent apart from the sound of rushing water down in the valley.. and so dark! One thing though, the WiFi is very slow and there was no mobile signal on Three. It is a fairly remote place after all. We loved the place and will return :)

A beautiful but quiet place with an incredible amazing view over Snowdonia. The rooms are clean and well sized and the outside terrace is just terrific.
