The last 5 times I've ordered, the food has been excellent. This time the chips tasted old and flavourless. I would rate them a generous 6/10, let's hope it's a one off. I'm going to be generous with my star rating this time, based on the generally good track record. If it happens again then I'll be rating 3 star and going back to Ken's.
Very sweetly received by two people behind the counter, when we told them we were from the Netherlands we had a nice chat. In Holland my girlfriend and I often eat fish. But we rarely had fish this good! Delicious French fries, and all eaten with love. While I was full for a long time. Delicious.
Always fantastic! This fish is so fresh and the chips are great. So are the sausages and the mushy peas! Everything is so good. Best chippy I’ve been to in London. Reasonably priced.
Very friendly service. Excellent value. Fresh fish and chips cooked on the spot. I give them 5 stars. I definitely recommend.

I was always not happy with being served with precooked fish that stayed in the counter long time. I've been living in London 13 years now and this is the first place they freshly cook upon order. Outside shop it says ' Freshly cooked, no gimmicks'. Very good
Simply the best Fish and Chips I've had. Generous portions reasonable prices and every bite is full of flavour. I must comment on the wonderful customer service and the environment is always clean. Well done!!
Quite simply the best Fish n Chips in Herne Hill...super friendly hubby and wife team, he does the cooking she sorts the orders and has the most amazing memory! Excellent all round service with the most generous portions of chips you'll ever come across.
