Impeccable cod. The lunch menu was a steal. £14.5 for a huge fish with large portions of chips and soda/coffee/tea. Plus side is the staff is so sweet. Thanks for teaching us the high five, low five and baby five. Will return if we stop by London again.Food: 5/5
Both the cod and haddock were exquisite. The fish was perfectly cooked with a great texture. I completely understand why this place was voted the best fish and chip shop in the UK. The service is very friendly too. I will definitely return.Food: 5/5
Fish lounge is, without any doubt, one of the best places to have a proper fish and chips. Delicious food, charming service, huge portions, cozy environment, fair prices… it has everything. If you’re staying nearby you must not miss to come, if you’re not that close… you might definitely think about coming no matter the distance. This is my second time in London and after several visits, I’m sure that I’ll come every time that I come to the city. The owner and all the staff are super friendly and will serve you with a smile and positive vibes. Thank you, Gus, for this delicious meal! And see you next time!
We did take out and the food was made quickly and it was delicious, but we were a bit surprised with the very generous portion size so we had to chill afterwards. Would absolutely recommend it.Food: 5/5

Delicious, super fresh and well-cooked fish, with probably the best batter I've ever tried from any chippy not only in London, but the whole country! I love their rock, really flavourful and flaky. The value is very reasonable too. Boss Gus is friendly, attentive and guaranteed to put a smile on your face, and the rest of his team provide great service too. Glad to see they have recently gotten more recognition in the local papers, it seems business has been booming as a result. Sadly I'm moving away and will really miss not having a Fish Lounge in my new neighbourhood!
On the list after reading about this fish and chip shop in the Brixton bugle. It was excellent went for the large cod and chips and it was LARGE. Really excellent! The owner was amazing really chatty and happy to talk. Will definitely visit againFood: 5/5

Been here twice, 3 years apart and I can still say this is the best fish and chips place in all of London! The owner was friendly and welcoming. The fish fresh and chips crispy. Hope to be back in the next 3 years too!
