Amazing value for money £8.95 for a medium cod and chips which was HUGE salad, bread and butter, mushy peas or curry sauce and a soft drink. All cooked fresh with fast and friendly service. Only thing being the decor could be updated.
Best fish and chips in town no question . I have lived here all my life and go once or twice a week . A regular customer over the last few years :-
Great people who appreciate customer loyalty. Generous portions and fantastic quality. Can honestly say we've never been disappointed when getting our fish and chips here. If you decide to eat in remember when we could do that? we always felt well looked after. I can't see why we'd go anywhere else.
Always spot on the fish and chips are always so good and such large portions as well. Lovely friendly staff too! One of the nicest f&c in Southend
We had the small meals, which come with a drink, plus bread and butter, side salad and either mushy peas or curry sauce. This was in the restaurant. For cod or rock and chips, this was £6.95 each and was quite filling. The service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend it.

Just had a delivery of large cod, small chips, mushy peas and curry sauce. The cod was huge, in a lovely crispy batter, chips not soggy but fresh tasting, sauces went well. Best I've had for ages, thank you Henry Higgins
