Had a issue on my car, booked in at there commercial vehicle site in Crawley, run diagnostic, found the fault, fixed the problem all in the same day. Sorted, efficient, professional.
-Bad customer service, no parking spaces when you booked in. -Days have passed, I have no news about my car. Tried to call them, they won't answer the phone, you just get transferred from a call centre. -They are just interested in selling servicing packages and new cars by the looks of it. -A feeling nobody cares about anything. This is an official Ford dealer. You pay an expensive price for 3rd class garage. I won't be going again.
Not often do I go out of my way to leave a review on a business, I purchased a ford focus from the group in May and since then had nothing but problems with the car. It spent over a month in repair for multiple problems and one is a major issue stopping the car from being driveable. countless times the car broke down on me and the group failed to find the main fault stopping the car from being driveable. After stressing my concerns to everyone within their customer care team/management they finally got the brand manager Harry involved who agreed to take it back after involving the motoring ombudsman. I spent countless times taking the car to hendy anytime it had the fault and this cost my business with my time dealing with this weekly. No one at Hendy took charge of the situation and helped me with my concerns and still to this day 04/10 I find myself chasing Harry for outstanding finance payments they agreed to refund me a month ago. Ontop of this the car I handed back got put into trade and still an October payment was taken from me. This has been the worst experience I have had with a business and customer service. Personally, I won't be doing business with Hendy group any further and instead purchased a new vehicle from a different dealer.
Great experience purchasing a new Ford Focus & Kaz was very helpful throughout the process from order to build/delivery.
Took car in for a service and MOT,was given a contact point whilst service carried out.We tried to make contact 3 times during the day,even going through the service centre,but did not get a call back,until car was ready for collecting at 17.05.Giving me 55 minutes notice to get back to the garage.None existent customer service.Will not go back here or recommend.
Rip off and full of bull****! Tried billing me over £3700 for work that didn’t need doing. Done a health check without my permission and wasted my time when all that was agreed was a simple diagnostic test. Also they broke my handbrake lever and tried telling me brakes and ball joints needed changing, they were done very recently so no they didn’t need changing. Money grabbing stealership! And the lady at the desk is rude and dismissive, she should listen and take in what customers are saying. Also I heard her she complaining about another customer which was nasty, rude and just disrespectful. I left a review on the website but it seems they have deleted it. There’s a lot more but I’m getting angry typing it! Stay clear, save your time and money. I don’t want to leave a single star as they definitely do not deserve even half a star. I did end up getting my car sorted and after a diagnostic elsewhere it was just a £30 sensor needed changing. For such a big company they should be ashamed of Hendy Ford Crawley and their staff.
Excellent service from Kaz, Stuart and all of the staff I met at Hendy’s throughout the process of purchasing a car. I really appreciated in particular the very professional, considerate and supportive approach displayed by the staff. As a happy customer I would obviously highly recommend them.

Buying the van was straightforward, and David who sold it to me was great, unfortunately the after sales care is atrocious. I've had the van for 3 weeks and the speakers have never worked, I'm not fussed about listening to the radio, but it means I can't receive phone calls hands free As a business owner I get called every 15 minutes and not being able to answer the calls results in loss of a potential sale. I took the van in to get fixed last week, Hendy are obviously too cheap and lazy to do it properly because 12 hours later the speakers stopped working again. I've booked it in for a second time to have the speakers fixed, I've asked to have the van collected ideally with a courtesy van this time - its a 1 hour round trip to take the van there plus someone else's time to bring me back, then I'm without the van all day, and its another 1 hour round trip for me and someone else to pick it up again. Apparently this is a service they don't provide, so I'll be taking the van back myself to have something fixed for a second time, which should have been working when it was sold to me in the first place.
I’ve bought two cars through Hendy Ford Crawley now and my experience both times has been really positive. The most recent time I exchanged my old car for a newer and bigger! one. Rosie Gillies was incredibly helpful and very friendly. I easily got on with her and was very impressed by how quickly she found me the car that matched my criteria brilliantly! A week later I dropped off my old car and picked up my new one. The process was really fast and smooth, and I couldn’t be happier!
