A medium sized flat walled garden with fruit trees, vegetables and flowers. The vegetables are used in the cafe so you know most of the food is fresh there are plant sales as well. The ticket is a type where you can visit as many times as you want in 12 months. A worthwhile visit.

Lovely walled garden near Helmsley Castle with a great cafe, The Vinery. For gardeners, this is an interesting and colourful place to visit with traditional wide-bed plantings of perennials plus others such as dahlias, providing great colours. There is a row of craft and artisan shops & businesses in front of the entrance. The Vinery is worth a visit for itself. Excellent food, good range of choice on the menu and many types of tea. Standard Yorkshire tea arrives in large pots for two of you!! Cakes look really nice too, though we didn't partake. Polite and attentive service. Food beautifully presented. Nice and warm in the sun under the glass on a day when the weather couldn't make up its mind. Good parking nearby and easily walkable from Helmsley Market Place.

This place is beautiful. The staff are lovely and the coffee and cake was perfect. If you are in the area stop by. And bring your dog!
