My husband and I both had an appoint for a hygiene clean couple of weeks ago and firstly there was a very long wait for me although my appointment was straight after his but during the hygiene clean the dentist asked us both to hold saliva ejector tube or syringe . We were absolutely shocked that she was doing the whole process with help of the patient instead of having an assistant in place . Over last couple of years we have noticed drop in standard at the practice but this was the worst experience we both had . The charges remained the same but the care was dismal and overall experience was awful .I think the practice need to be investigated by dental body as this is the first time I have been asked to hold the tube myself while the dentist is trying to clean my teeth. especially patients who are elderly and ones who are more nervous to vist a dentist in the first place .
Got an emergency appointment here by 111. Dentist said everything is fine although expressing the severe pain in my teeth & gums. They sent me off without looking into anything. Ended up going to a different dentist who told me I had sinusitis and gave me antibiotics. They were quick to rush me out and didn’t show any concern to the pain i was in. Wouldn’t recommend.
Girlfriend went here for an emergency appointment, needing a route canal. Long wait sadly, but once in the dentist and assistant were extremely professional, friendly and a calming presence. It really helped because my gf was in a lot of pain and scared of needles - as promised she was smiling by the time we left :
Had a few issues with some dental work, but when the owner of this place helped me with my dental issues I got a whole new look on NHS dentistry in general. He was so so lovely and kind, kept asking.how I was doing during the procedure. He saw i was very distressed about my dental issues and when I mentioned that I was struggling financially, he didn't ask for payment. I was so surprised and so so grateful i burst into tears. Honestly I am forever grateful for his generous gift and good work on my tooth. This dental practice is a good one. *Pretty smile now*
Referred here by 111 after another dentist failed to carry out his work properly. I was in extreme pain and distress, the dentist here immediately knew what the problem was and the right treatment was done. I am now pain free! Nice calm and relaxed atmosphere .
Shocking dentist. Numerous appointments made for my child to be turned away each time we go as the receptionist staff can’t seem to book an appointment properly and give you a different time to what they have booked you in for or will call and cancel your appointment or will just cancel it without calling and you travel there and get told it’s cancelled when you get there! waste of time going there
In my experience this place can't get simple appointment scheduling right. I've had numerous appointments booked this year which I've turned up for, only to be told I have no appointment booked in. This has happened on multiple occasions now, so I haven't actually got through to the dentist in almost a year! Can't be bothered with the hassle. Shame, as I actually quite liked the dentist
Was appalled by the dentist doing the wiping down of surface while I was in the dental chair and it should have been done before I was called in to the room. I was literally left in tears when I spoke about how awful the dentures they had made that took 8 was were so heavily laid with plastic and teeth looked like they eould fit a horse. The dentist said it was the best I could expect. NEVER GOING BACK THEIR.
On the 4th of January I went to have some impressions done for a gum veneer and after a month chasing after them they finally called me to tell me that they have lost it and I have to come back. I did come back and take new impressions and they said that the veneer will be ready in 1 week. Now 2 weeks have passed and I spoke to the receptionist yesterday and she put me on hold while she was looking for it and then she hang up the phone. I just called them and they hang up the phone again. I guess that my number is recognised by now after all the chasing. I have always been very polite and I had a lot of patience with them but now I don't know what to do because I am in a lot of pain and I need this veneer to cover part of my gum that is missing.
Very helpful staff and excellent dentists. Easy to book appointments and all the procedures were done at the same appointment, so I didn't have to come several times.
