Recently refurbished the Hayride is looking very nice. Varied seating options; benches, stools or armchairs with plenty of space. Great for a simple and reasonably priced family meal. Several large screens show live sports and there are unobtrusive games machines and a pool table. There is a reasonably sized outside play area for the younger aged children. All in all a pleasant place to eat and drink.

Nice welcoming pub. Food well presented good quality and plenty of it. Would recomend you give it a try.

First time experience with my wife and our son, living only a few minutes drive away. The food was above average quality for a regular pub at a very reasonable price, great service. Good selection of craft beers, pool table and plenty of space. Thry have very cheap child menu offers (£3 per main meal), offers for standard mains, over 60s and a custom large Gin menu! Many large TVs streaming football matches but 2 separate rooms TV-free and isolated enough to enjoy a meal when it is busy. We will definitely be returning.

The Hay ride has recently been refurbished. The food is cheap and cheerful. Plenty of parking space and a nice place to walk along a railway track.

Poor customer service to say the least....just save yourself the hassle....book elsewhere. Quiet happy to allow 7 of us walk out without trying to re organise a couple of tables to put together....it's not.improved over the years and with the latest revamp it clearly hasn't got any better. .avoid
