If i could give a lower rating I would. I contacted hays a year ago to help me find work. They employed someone called joesph who is terrible at what he does. I waited a long time for him to contact me about a job. It was me that had to chase them constantly snd when I did manage to speak to him he found it amusing that I was struggling to find a job. I complained to the director and thought things will improve and I have not heard from them for a further 4 months now. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HAYS. THEY ARE CRAP AT WHAT THEY DO!!!!! THEY WILL NOT FIND YOU A JOB
This agency is rubbish... after wasting money on trains and buses to go back and forth with the interviews. I secured a job through them only for them to not COMMUNICATE that they don't have a start date and they never got back to me or offered me another role. Temps: stay away: these consultants are rubbish with poor morale.
I had a fantastic experience with Lynsey. From the first conversation, she showed compassion, enthusiasm and gave me opportunities that I wouldn't have been able to access on my own. She was a constant source of support and gave me confidence in my abilities. Lynsey is top of my quick dial contacts should I ever need her again!
Shocking! - I gave all my ID details, work experience, references this went on for 3 days last week with emails and telephone calls with Garo then told final part I needed to do online courses, which was arranged with Garo last Friday at 15:00 hrs on a zoom meeting, I arranged my day around this meeting with Garo, he didn't contact me at 15:00hrs as arranged. I have just phoned spoke to Garo to ask why he didn't contact me on Friday? His reply "I'm on his to-do list this morning". I feel I have been conned into registering with Hays just for him to reach monthly targets and that there wasn't a role in place for me after all!
With so many recruitment companies these days, you'd be crazy to choose this one. Poor just doesn't cover it.
Promises, promises and promises thats all I got from there but I wanted work.
The recruiter I dealt with was great at the start. He was very informative and made frequent calls to keep me updated on the process. After the interview I heard absolutely nothing. No feedback whatsoever.
