Was quite sad over finding the staff quite bullying as the fish was not fresh.they said you baught the cheaper piece..i baught on the same rate they were selling on.they were selling the fish for almost 10 pounds this was i could afford.instead of having a fresher thing they told me its england not your country.n i was suggested to spend more if you want a better thing.thanks for realizing me that its not my country.
My partner called in today for some fish & prawns for our Brazilian moqueca. The advice was great and really helped her decide which fish & how much she needed. We cooked the moqueca tonight and it was superb. We've never cooked one with prawns quite the size of these. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic service and brilliant produce, we have been using these guys for a while now and they always deliver. I’d recommend anyone going and trying them, service won’t let you down and nor will the fish, great and fair pricing. Support your locals!! Side note on a previous unfair review: Just be careful when freezing/defrosting fresh fish, as this can happen from anywhere, but as the fish is frozen the ice forms crystals which can damage the flesh of the fish, this doesn’t mean the fish is rotten, but it will go mushy as it defrosts. This is very rare, but perfectly normal and a small risk.

I go back many years, I worked for John and Liz. Quality was always the watchword. I visited quite recently. I waa not disappointed. Absolutely superb. When I am in Leeds i have to buy my fish and shellfish here.need I say more?

A really poor customer service. Since when it is acceptable to treat your customers as piece of ***. I would say avoid and spend your money with someone who would speak with you with respect and at the same time provide a high quality product.
Simply blown away by how fresh the fish was and how friendly the staff were. I'm no expert when it comes to fish and the guys here really helped. Highly recommended! Thanks
I always ask myself - "Is this fish monger's in the middle of the street?". And if the answers YES then I know I'm onto a winner. So if you're looking for that exaust cured fish then this is the perfect place for you
