Not a bad place. Staff behind the bar seemed friendly enough however the music was definitely way too loud to have a normal conversation. At points the sound increased and decreased and I'm still not sure why. Also very aggressive near the end of the night. Do understand that everyone wants to close up, etc. But being rude about it isn't the ideal way to do it.

Massive pub in a great location for students, cheap food and a good drink selection.

Visited here for the first time in years on Saturday. Seems ok but has definitely lost the atmosphere it used to have. Beer garden was relaxing.

Friendly staff, good food, nice atmosphere and the range of drinks are great too.

This is the coolest bar around, you can play pool, have plenty of different beers and there a special scheme for students. The little garden is perfect for smokers. Very chill out.
