We are open 7 days a week and bank holidays. We have one of the largest selection of reptile and aquatic goods & live stock in the south east. We have been established for over 15 years with around 80 aquariums and a large selection of reptiles.

Story

Hastings Reptile & Aquatic Centre has been established since 2002 where the business has grown from a small market shop into a “must see” attraction in Hastings, East Sussex. We really want our customers to see something they haven’t seen before. Located opposite Hastings main shopping centre, the shop is also easy to find (especially now we have a 40 foot mural).
We stock over 40 vivs and 4 display units. Every effort is made to make our customers feel welcome. We pride ourselves on the information that we give to our customers. We encourage everyone to research and ask as many questions as they need to feel confident with the animal they are purchasing.
We have around 120 coldwater, tropical and marine aquariums. with a good selection of tanks and equipment we have enough to satisfy even the most harden fish keeper.

I telephoned them to ask if they had a tropical aquarium water test kit in. The phone was answered quickly and they weee happy to put the test kit by whilst we travelled down there. We also bought some shrimp food whilst we were there. Good friendly customer service and knowledgeable about the test kit. Good price too. Well done.

All staff know their stuff when it comes to tropical fish - so helpful, cheery and go the extra mile to help you sort out any issues with your aquarium. I set up a small 19" tank a friend gave me, they advised as to how to 'cycle' the tank 4 months ago, & what fish to start with, and their advice was spot on! They also test your water which is a bonus.  The prices for both fish and products are excellent, I'm not going anywhere else, they're my regular stop for anything to do with tropical fish!

Great range of fish and products at reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and all fish I have ever brought from them have thrived. Nice clean tanks with individual filters.

Today I got an Albino Leopard Gecko. The Girl who served me was very knowledgeable and a very nice person. She let me see all the geckos and let me hold a couple of which ones I like. I would rate this 10     !!!!!!

I always find the staff here to be incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Great range of products and the selection of fishes is amazing.

Got back in to fish keeping a few months ago. Always helpful and clearly passionate about both the reptile and aquarium hobby. Great place to go locally instead of the bigger chains and has near on everything you could need to start from new or get supplies.  Great selection of fish and reptiles. all what you see in the photo is from here.

Spoke on the phone about my daughter's interest in snakes. Person who answered was very helpful and accommodating. Feel confident to bring her to the shop and explore options. Thanks!  We went to the shop and staff were brilliant with my daughter 6. They made her really welcome and explained things to her in such a friendly way.

So incredibly helpful and such a lovely place, the even took my naughty goldfish who got really aggressive with other fish and gave him a tank for himself in case he was unwell 10/10

Nellie was so helpful today. My daughter is buying her first gecko and Nellie was really informative. We got a great deal on a starter kit far better than any we had seen on online stores and when we picked up the vivarium Nellie helped us to the car- great service

My partner brought a bearded dragon for his son here. The lady who served us was very very helpful and informative. The picture is of CHOMP in his new home
