Situated at the end of Rock-A-Nore Road in Hastings historic old town, there’s so much to see under the sea at Blue Reef Aquarium!
Enjoy incredibly close encounters with seahorses, native sharks, giant octopus and hundreds of amazing aquatic creatures.
At the aquarium’s heart is a giant ocean display where you walk through an underwater tunnel and come face to face with shoals of colourful fish.
Explore our Remarkable Reptiles area, home to exotic snakes and curious bearded
dragons. Then face your fears and get hands on with our reptiles during regular Animal Encounters. Open all year.

Don't be put off that this is not run by the well known Sea Life brand. Probably one of the best Aquariums the family and I have been to because of the sheer variety of sea creatures that are homed there. A delight for all the family and for a reasonable price too.

My partner and I had a fantastic time at the aquarium! While it’s not the largest space, there’s so much to see and explore inside. We especially loved the cowfish, and the walk-through tunnel was such a fun experience. Some of the signs could do with a little update, but overall, it was a wonderful visit and we’d definitely recommend it.

One of the best aquariums I have been to. Lovely clean tanks, great lighting and a huge variety of sealife and even some reptiles which were a great bonus! The tunnel has such a great variety of sealife to observe and the layout is spacious and wast to navigate around.

Nice little aquarium with different types of tanks and a small reptile room. It isn't as big as some of the others I've been to but it was also cheaper.  We got there for opening time and it wasn't too busy, it took us about an hour to walk around. You can re enter the same day with your ticket so we went back in to watch one of feedings.

Brilliant experience. Not very big inside,but very well laid out. The pools are bright and clean and the fish swim freely zooming around their space for all to see. The children we had with us,were amazed by the fish and their sizes.nAll in all,worth every penny to get in and return the same day as many times as you like.
