I'm not sure who everybody else met, but we were served by the manager when we went in to look for a sofa on a budget for our first home. Norman saw that we were quite taken by a leather sofa for £399, but were put off by the smell as it had been in a smoker's home. Seeing our disappointment, he took us to a black sofa of the same type that was brand new, and knocked enough money off that one to bring it down to within our budget. He gave us time to chat to each other about it without any hard selling techniques and even arranged delivery for us even though as it is an outlet store, most people would organise their own. The delivery company he went with were cheaper and better than any we'd looked at ourselves. The sofa arrived bang on the delivery date the day after we moved in ... no waiting for into be built as this is an outlet store so you get the one you saw in the shop and my girlfriend and I are over the moon with a beautiful, brand new leather sofa that we got for nearly half the price it should have been! Thank you Norman!! We'll be comfy for many years without having broken the bank to do it
Don't believe the delivery dates they give you We were told 11 weeks for a corner sofa unit. Bit taken aback that it was so long but the assistant told us that they would rather say 11 weeks and we get it in 9 or 10 weeks, then you won't be disappointed. Well this is now week 12 and still no furniture and the promised call to arrange delivery still hasn't happened. On ringing the store I have been given different information each time, the latest is that we will get a call to arrange delivery on 19th December and delivery will be week commencing 21st December 13 weeks after we ordered. Yes we are disappointed and if I hadn't chased the store we wouldn't have any idea what was happening. We placed our order on September 28th and delivery will be Christmas week Not good enough. Wished we had gone to SCS
STAY WELL AWAY FROM ANY HARVEYS STORE, HAVE BEEN WAITING 14 WEEKS FOR MY SOFA TO BE TOLD IT WILL BE WITH ME ON THE 01/08/2017 DID NOT ARRIVE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A PHONE CALL. PHONED CUSTOMER SERVICE TO BE TOLD IT WILL TAKE 48 HOURS TO FIND OUT WHY IT WAS NOT DELIVERED. WENT INTO THE LOCAL SHOP AND WAS TOLD I WILL BE LOOKING AT LEAST NEXT WEEK NOW. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF A COMPANY WHO DO NOT CARE AFTER THEY HAVE HAD YOUR MONEY WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. And never had the sofa after all because the delivery driver had told a pack of lies saying I refused the sofa because it was damaged. And all this was done in Warrington on his computer. Even though I live in wrexham
You can get some great bargains here. Quality is good too.
Absolutely Disgusting Staff and Customer Service.Never use again !!!
