First visit in a long long time and I have to say I really liked it. The outside doesn't do the interior justice, with great decor and a welcoming feel. The usual range of drinks available, while the food menu also looked fantastic, and clearly a lot of thought and planning has gone into making this a destination venue for food, and can't wait to go back and try some. Will definitely visit again in the near future
We went for something to eat on our way to the Yorkshire wildlife park. We had Sunday roast which was very nice I liked it that you could have a small or large one. My granddaughter had the children's menu which she enjoyed. We also had desserts which were delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful I would recommend the Harvey arms to anyone who wants good food.
Been for a second visit, two young ladies front of house, bags of energy. Lovely surroundings, just needs a few little touches, great outside area / beer garden for warmer months. Most of all a fantastic main course from the specials board of braised beef, mash and root veg and amazing proper gravy, get that dish on your daily menu, beautiful.
Update 12/02/23 Great Sunday lunch today, beef, pork, turkey dinner or normal menu on offer. Very tasty, warm and the cauliflower cheese was epic. Cost was very reasonable in my opinion, family of 5, 2 adults and 2 courses just over £50. Traditional pub good selection of drinks/ale on offer. Friendly and helpful staff. Thanks for having us today Really nice meal had by the family
What a lovely Country Pub. Popped in one lunch time for a meal, the staff were lovely and helpful. There was two log burners fired up, which gave the place a cosy feel and helped after coming in our of the cold. I had a 10oz Gammon Steak which was succulent and cooked to perfection, as was the egg, chips and peas. Prices of meals and drinks were very reasonable also. Overall a very welcoming and cosy place to enjoy a drink and a meal.
We wanted to treat ourselves one evening before Xmas. It was very busy, but we were well looked after and had a great meal. I can thoroughly recommend the Chicken and Ribs combo! Quality food served in good time. Thank you!
Went in whilst visiting relations. Warm, friendly with a good range of drinks. The food menu looks very good. Unable to taste on this occasion but will definitely return.
Good pub grub-as described on the menu. Very good bar/waiting staff - friendly, helpful & efficient. Dog friendly with even their own menu! Recommended

nothing was to much trouble, staff made us feel welcome and found us a table even though the pub was very busy,the food was delicious and hot ,will definitely call again .
