Large capacity pub situated at the top of a hill, nestled within the park. Great views from outdoor area. Did not try any food during our visit, however the drinks menu had plenty of choice. Lovely place to visit after a walk in the park to soak up the natural beauty surrounding the pub.

Went for breakfast, and the food and drinks were decent and at a fair price. Dog friendly. The venue is quite large, so there is lots of space, but it's also very cosy. Has its own parking lot. Good for large groups or families.
place its nice but nothing else.we have booked the table. and just ruined our dinner. in the picture its how looks kids plate. he just add ketchup. I order a salmon for my self and it wasn't looked better like this chicken.
We had a lovely meal in one of the best Harvesters we have visited. Good good, great service and lovely surroundings.
After a very stressful experience at another restaurant being disappointed and let down 5 minutes before our table, Mansion House came to the rescue! I phoned ahead and spoke to a lovely girl called Chloe who I explained what had happened and she was more then happy to help us out we were a table of 11 and this was extremely last minute! John and the team were absolutely fabulous! Antonio served us at the bar, and got us all our drinks. We were served by a absolute gem called Rosie, who was absolutely lovely!!! She was attentive, friendly and treated us like guests. We felt so welcomed. The food was absolutely fantastic, the salad bar was constantly filled up, and fresh rolls were constantly available. Most definitely the best meal I have had in any harvester - especially this last minute. The Manager John should be extremely proud of such an amazing team! It was super busy but nothing was too much! We all had an absolutely amazing time! What a credit those staff members are! 10/10 Kid-friendliness: We had three babies with us, and they where all treated like little kings
The food and service was outstanding however there was some issues. I order the ultimate mixed grill but only got a normal mix grill but still got charged for the ultimate. The steaks we order were put on the wrong plates. My wife likes her steaks well done but she got the steak I ordered which was medium.
I had an issue with my parking that was swiftly and efficiently dealt with by the manager of Mansion House. I like to come to this establishment because the food has always been to my liking at a reasonable price. The beer is not expensive and it makes a good night out. I like to sit outside in the summer time with the big trees and views over the park. It's well worth a visit.
Very fast and professional service, the bar staff doesn't waste time taking your order while talking to you, you don't even feel when the order is already in your hand, the service is also at a pretty good level, there is no room for objection, strictly, precisely and always on point. The interior is beautiful and inspiring full of emotion and motivation to stay and enjoy the surroundings. I strictly recommend it to you if you are hesitating where to spend from morning to night with music for every taste.
Despite an empty restaurant we were asked to sit in the bar. Which we accepted. But the bar had the fire exit propped open so was freezing and was full of swearing drinkers - not perfect around children. We ordered on the app. We weren't given cutlery. We weren't given salad bowls. We weren't offered a high chair. Nothing was cleared so sat on a table full of empty starter plates while trying to eat our mains. The lady who seated us was very rude with us. Told us we should have booked as its 50% off. We weren't aware and didn't even use this offer. We just wanted lunch. She is an older, larger lady with short hair. She actually tutted me? I hadn't done anything. Literally just wanted to come in for lunch. The food was nice but the chips were all cold. We probably wouldn't have complained but no one checked back anyway. I am sure the excuse will be we were sat in the bar but as a paying customer this is not acceptable. We received absolutely no service at all and I am really annoyed and offended at this experience. The gentleman behind the bar was pleasant but does not even vaguely make up for such a poor experience.
