I ordered the beef and ale pie. It was quite good and the food came out quick and was nice and hot. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. I ordered this from the bar which seemed to be a quicker option than going into the restaurant. There is a 12.5% service charge added to the bill so probably just as easy to order in your room if you like.
Really friendly at the bar. The food was average but served pretty quick. Burger was tasty but the chips cold. Surcharge for eating in the bar area vs the restaurant.
Absolutely great. Im a chef and i actually had no complaints. The staff were amazing couldnt do enough for us. The food cost was no more expensive than that at a normal restaurant. The food was presented beautifully and it tasted amazing. Well done to all the guys back of house
If I could give it no stars, I would. French onion soup was terrible. Like finely shredded, soggy, dirty, gym socks with 2 beef bullion cubes in mildly hot water. 10 oz. ribeye steak was well done ordered medium and the fries chips are mushy and not very hot. The place is empty. Now I know why. Disappointed. I will never get this hour back.
I think it's now called something else, staff very pleased although very lost in what's going on. As I was not a hotel guests things got quite confusing.
I fail to see what everybody is moaning about me and my fiancee stayed at the hotel over the weekend and had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant our food was perfectly cooked the staff were fantastic very polite and happy, wasn't expensive at all, would HIGHLY recommend
