Hope this place never shuts shop. Great location for a coffee, chat and people watching. Miss the lady owner though, not the same without her friendly smile!
Good service! Only disappointment was the price of the hot chocolate for such a small cup!
First time at this place and had a full English breakfast. A little bit of a wait but it was oh so worth it.. came out piping hot so lovely and fresh. Lovely little place hidden away in the town centre.
Quite possibly the greatest cafe in the UK. The spiritual home of the full English breakfast. This place should be preserved for eternity.
The food was all right, but not wonderful. My cod was pretty dry. But the prices are low so it's acceptable. My sweet lassi was delicious. A very busy place, very few parking options on the Friday lunchtime I visited.
Friendly staff, honest fare at reasonable prices.
Food ok..very greasy. No social distancing possible. Place rammed with tables side by side and no space between them..Covid spreading hotspot! I'd even called as I walked up the road to book a table and was told, it ok we're pretty empty!
Tasty food, lovely staff, wonderful atmosphere and fair prices! Would recommend.
