Went on the first evening after refurbishment. It is a nice bright clean environment. Nice efficient service. Steak and chicken cooked excellently. And first time in a Harvester after pandemic that you can help yourself to the salad cart! A very pleasant meal!
Looking at the menu, you're spoilt for Choice. We had the 2 courses for about £15.00. Great value . The food was LUSH ! . I loved their decor. My waiter , Reagon gave us 5* service . Really enjoyed my time here . Fabulous salad bar is back open . Definitely be coming back here
Been here a good few times before but this was the first time in about 2 years maybe longer. The service was nice. Friendly staff; but I was slightly put out by the fact you need to have someone else dish out your salad now. I'm assuming this is to prevent tight queues at the salad bar due to covid, but hey that's just me. I noticed the choice of items in the salad bar appeared to be reduced from what I can remember when I last visited, though I could be wrong as it was laid out differently The food was OK. I chose the pork belly it was good but not special. I wasn't overly impressed and wouldn't have it again. That being said, I would definitely return, not in a hurry, but yes I would go back
Dinner was lovely. Tasty and good portion sizes. Had dessert. I was enjoying it until I found a bit of finger nail in it, with my mouth. Won't be rushing back there any time soon. Shame as that was the second time I'd been in a week as really enjoyed it the first time.
Staff were very polite and helpful. Food came out very hot and didn't have to wait long after ordering. Staff checked if everything was OK with meal and asked if we wanted anymore drinks etc and food was delicious!! Parking: Limited number of parking spaces on the premises and have to enter reg inside the pub on the screen so you don't get a ticket.
Food was really good for the price took advantage of the 50% off mains voucher Steak was cooked how I asked, my partners halloumi was excellent. My only quibble is how small the cheesecake is compared to the other desserts - the choc fudge cake is the same price but easily double the size The refillable drinks are great value Toilets were clean Would recommend a visit - even more so if there's a discounted voucher available!
I can honestly say the best meal out ever. We were all full the 3 courses for £17.89 was brilliant ! Great portion sizes and the help yourself to salad and rolls was brilliant. The portion sizes were very generous. Our waiter was so good and friendly. Couldn't recommend more,we will definately be going again. Thank you for a lovely evening celebrating my Son's 3 A's pass in his A levels
A booking of 6,arrived a little early, so headed straight to bar first but must admit,service was very slow at bar, I was booked in at our table, from here everything was lovely, the food our waitress..Paula? Was excellent. Thank you for a lovely time,which meant alot to me has I was with my 2 sons,which does not happen very often,due to my one son who lives in Brighton and is a manager in the food and drink sector,and we have no complaints. We went to the Harvester last week, to see the new refurbishment and it was bright and cheerful. However I agree being able to help yourself to salad is a nice option, but was disappointed the crispy onions were no longer available one of our favourite and we were told there was no bread available as it was still defrosting, this is always a nice option to have with the salad bar. We would return as we enjoyed the main meal
There was a 50% off deal for early January, well worth checking for vouchers online before going. The food is reasonable and the service was friendly. The salad bar is my chief reason for picking Harvester and I was very pleased with what was on offer. I've been here many times and look forward to returning again soon. Parking: Park outside and register the vehicle inside at the touch screen for several hours of complementary parking.
