Verdo Lounge is an informal, neighbourhood food led cafe/bar open all-day everyday where families, friends and locals can have fun and relax.



"We’ve been looking after the good people of Wylde Green and Sutton Coldfield for a good few years now. We put our popularity down to a few details like our fantastic corner location with outdoor seating and loads of windows that fully open up, just perfect for people watching. It could be our great range of food and drinks including full kids, gluten free and vegan menus served in a really relaxed, welcoming space. Or it could be that we were once a shop selling baths, and mystified ex customers are still hoping for us to throw in a bidet with their brunch. Who knows?"

I have been eating at the Verdo Lounge for a number of years and the food has always been very good. This was the first time I'd been for dinner here I normally have brunch or tapas, although I did have the same dish a few weeks back at the Gloucester Quays restaurant. I enjoyed the dish so much I had it again in Birmingham. I had the Katsu chicken burger with slaw and sweet potato fries, plus a side of onion rings. The food was hot, tasty and very enjoyable. I ordered via the app which was nice and straight forward, although it did take a while for my meal to arrive after my friends came which was a bit annoying but I just ate the onion rings whilst waiting. The place was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Although you can't book, I never had to wait long for a table. A great place to bring dogs, families and friends. I would recommend.
Amazing setting, lovely home feel. Felt like I was getting a hug as I walked into the warm. Staff super friendly, digs allowed. Excellent food and great cocktails. 10/10 for my first visit. Will return very soon
Best coconut banana milkshake ever!! If I could’ve ordered one to go I would’ve. Their hot drinks were also amazing, I chose to have them made with soya milk so I was expecting something quite flat and watery but they were thick and creamy with lots of froth. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I saw a lot of people on what looked like first dates so if you’re struggling to find somewhere I’d suggest here.
Had two lovely meals here recently. There catering for allergies is brilliant and so many gluten free options. Can't wait to come back soon. Dietary restrictions: Brilliant gluten free options and so much choice, which is unusual to have such a big menu. Food was so tasty!

Try all the food as well the poached eggs with hollandaise sauce for breakfast! Please do try their tapas you'll get full I love this place as I enjoy to go all the time to chill and have some wine the place speaks quality They have the best hygiene and are so clean and organized! Definitely recommended!
Breakfast Really nice place to have breakfast at. I can judge my full English by the hash brown, and hash browns in Verda Lounge were tasty as the rest of content on my plate. There are vegetarian options picture nr 1 not sure about the vegan options. Liked the atmosphere in there. And girls who served the food were exceptionally attentive and friendly. Well done! Recommended place to go for breakfast!
Nice enough, been to better, food was good though and service was first class. Really needs a lot more lamp shades.
Even though it was super busy and all tables were full, the member of staff made us feel welcome and important. We went to the bar for a drink and whilst we were waiting she reminded us that she'd not forgotten us and got us the first available table. Even though it was full, the wait for food and drink wasn't long and the meal was delicious! We love that the lounges are baby and dog friendly as well as the above, which is why we go all of the time. Thank you! Vegetarian options: Seperate vegan menu has plenty of choice and the food is great!
Absolutely LOVED it here. Fab busy atmosphere, friendly efficient upbeat staff. Only waited 5 minutes for our table on a very busy Saturday morning. Delicious large breakfast, much larger than we expected!!! Gorgeous oat cappuccino. Will definitely be back for lunch.
