We had Christmas lunch here. The menu gave good options and portions were just the right size; plenty ti eat but not so much we felt we had been set a challenge. The different classes were nicely presented and cooked to just the right stage and served up hot which wasn't easy given the amount of customers. They have a good range of real ales, and a friendly atmosphere.

Normally good but long wait for take away. Don't blame them for that but I did wait 10mins at the counter before they thought to tell me about the 45min wait. I had tried to order by phone but they didn't answer. Saturday night problem.

Great service and the range of vegetarian mock meat dishes is impressive. Recommended for vegetarians wanting good choice.

Have eaten here a few times. It is good by the standards of Chinese restaurants in Britain. The tables are a bit close and it has been quiet when I've been, which detracts from the ambience of the place.
