Do you want it or not ! We ordered a delivery from here on the weekend. First we were told it would be an hour and twenty five minutes, pretty poor service to begin. As the hour and twenty five rolled by we called to see where our food was, "it's almost there, it left 5 mins ago" was the reply. Another twenty or more minutes later, an hour and 50 odd minutes after we ordered the food arrived and when we asked the delivery guy if there was a good will discount for the long wait and delay he very abruptly sneered: "Do you want it or not!" We paid the rude driver and went to to eat. This would have been the end of it except it then turned out that they were short an item as well. When we called about it they were not interedsted in refunding for the missing item or bringing it to us. They simply said they would make it up on the next one. Yeah right. And to cap it off the food was at best bland. So in summary: Long delays Rude staff Missing items No pride in fixing issues Very medioca food I wont use them again.
I have had numerous delivered meals more than 20 from Dewani Shah's over the last few years and have never been dissappointed, poisoned or struck down with illness. The food has always been authentic Bangladeshi , very tasty, delivered hot, on time and at a reasonable cost. My 5 stars is exactly that, the best.
Absolutely outstanding Indian cuisine! Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is as good, if not better as such hailed Indian restaurants as the K2 which live near. Th staff are very helpful and pleasant.
Excellent food very authentic flavours, each dish distinctive, lovely people. We went back the next night - that's how good it was. And loved it all over again!
DO NOT EAT HERE!!! POOR HYGIENE WARNIG!!!!! Spent £22.95 on a meal for two of us. Contracted food poisoning as a direct result of the food, had to take two days off sick from work. Went in to complain, they didn't seem to care and said they would only refund the money for one dish as they felt that was the only one that could have given me food poisoning. I explained I didn't think I should have to give them any money due to the sickness and diarrhea they had very kindly provided as a side dish. Will be reporting them to the FSA, I understand mistakes can be made but the fact they didn't seem to care made it worse. Hopefully they will be out of business soon and not poisoning any other poor clientel. ********************************************************************************************** To All and in response. This is not a falsie review, I do not have a doctors note as I did not wish to put even more pressure on our already struggling health system. After 48 hours I was back to normal, I didn't want to waste any more time be it mine or a doctors in a surgery to be told what I already new. The other diner with me was vegetarian so fortunately missed out on the ill effects. Regarding the FSA, to be quite honest after being off work- I couldn't be bothered to waste any more of my time liaising back and forth with the FSA- lazy I know! I sincerely sympathise with anyone else who has eaten here and had a similar experience, I hope you were more resolute in your disappointment than I was. Unfortunately even writing this is more time than I would like to spend on these Jokers! Regards Simon

This food was absolutely beautiful one of the best Indian takeaways I've had in my 28 years of living definitely recommend buying from this shop very friendly staff as well 10 out of 10 in my eyes hats off to the chef
I only order takeaway so I can't comment on the interior of the restaurant itself, but the food is is always really good, delivered on time by really friendly delivery staff. The food is definitely one of the best examples of indian food I've tasted.
