I have a wonderful doctor so no complaint there. My problem is you cant get hold of a GP when you need them. I have a leg infection the Doctor gives me antibiotics the tablets work but the infection has not cleared up and Im running out of tablets so I ring in for a phone appointment to get some help but am told theres none available for the next few days. So now I cant get the tablets I need so my infection will not clear up all because I cant get a phone appointment. This place has gone downhill as many of the other reviewers have said.

I've been going here the last 24 years but it has declined rapidly in recent years. A family member of mine has cancer and the way he has been treated is diabolical. His doctor is constantly questioning his prescriptions and often prescribing him the wrong dose. They have on a number of occasions lost blood tests and samples. The receptionists are often rude and unhelpful. I've left appointments before with no help at all and sometimes it's as if they don't care. On top of that trying to get an appointment within two weeks is at times impossible. I have now changed surgerys and am better for it. I never usually write bad reviews but I felt stongly enough to do so.

This has been my surgery for most of my life! But since they merged with Oakley Health and some of the staff have changed it's gone down hill very rapidly! Such shame the new receptionists are so rude and unhelpful.

So fed up with never been able to have my call answered, no priorty on children being seen, have to wait over a week for appointments, and why should i have to disclose whats wrong with me to a receptionist? But in have to say the majority of doctors are good if you can get in?

HC has been my surgery for 30 years, always excellent service, great doctors & helpful staff but more recently the lack of appointment availability at short notice has been diabolical & the telephone system doubly so. Please practise manager get it sorted.
