If you want to walk to old Harlow, come out of the station pass the ticket machines and turn left, under the bridge and around to the right and then just walk straight. Will take about 5-10 minutes.
A normal train station that is served by Greater Anglia trains which has disabled access to both platforms. There is no ticket barriers here and the station is very quiet and basic with a small waiting area. The station was clean and trains from here go towards Cambridge North, Stratford and Liverpool Street Stations.
Really helpful staff member helped us with tickets and suggestions for which train would be best to London. Such a help and unexpected. Thank you. Premier inn up the road a ten minute walk away. 40 mins to London on train.
Visited summer 2019, lots of passing trains to Stansted, Cambridge and Stortford. But Cambridge and Bishops Stortford trains stop here too. Described as peaceful & rural
A fairly quiet station, the building of which has been recently rebuilt and is a large improvement over the original.
