The Pets Corner is wonderful and of course is free but the newly renovated café is another matter. It lacks customer service, and is not baby friendly. The staff complained about us taking food in for children and made a big fuss about making a mess - even before we said we'd clear it up. The attitude of the staff is cold and unwelcoming as though you're being a nuisance for daring to walk through the door. Shame as it's so beautifully renovated.

We took a group of elderly in wheel chairs. It was wonderful, the staff in the cafe were great, very helpful. We had a lovely afternoon.

I can't believe it's free! It's incredibly well maintained. Animals are well looked after and look healthy. Lovely mix of exotic and common farm animals. Definitely worth bringing kids here for at least an hour if not more. Please leave some donation though, because it's brilliant and I never want it to go away.

We went to Harlow town park a few months ago, The weather wasn't very warm on out chosen day, never the less, it was lovely, the animals are so well looked after and friendly. My little boy who can be a bit reserved/shy when it cones to new places and people, really loved it. The plat area was lovely, okay it could do with a lick of paint here and there, but honestly, my little one loved it, he didn't want to leave! Says a lot for a small boy who gets bored easily. Tge underwater garden was hypnotising, so beautiful, i coukd have sat there all day long woth a book and a cuppa. The only downsides were the following, They really do need better/bigger signposts (its absolutely huge). Its a Shane they don't have a little shuttle service for visitors to the park only! As we got a 410 bus, and went all the way, to the bus station, so we had to find our way to the park, half an hour of walking, we finally got there. I always notice that food in parks, and public places tends to be a bit excessive, so with this in mind, we took our very own picnic, and then before we left we bought an ice cream. It was a lovely day, in spit of our getting lost a few tines, but luckily on the way out (near the car park, toilets etc) There is in fact a bus stop there, and opposite as well, we were kindly informed by a local (lovely) resident, that we should get off at the bus stop before the station (afore mentioned outside the park). So anyone travelling on the 410 bus, its costs about £6 for a daysaver pass, that's where you get off/on. Its well worth it!! Cheapest day out for us so far! As I don't pay for my little boy at the moment, it really does work out well. There are also toilets, very clean I night add, not state of the art kind of toilets, but clean none the less. Also hand wash mechanisms/sinks for before and after visiting the animals, it is free entrance, but we did give a contribution, (£10) obviously this is NOT forced upon you, (optional contribution) but we gave what we had, as it would be a crying shame if they ever closed it down! We only saw one cafe, but we were told there was another one further along. I hope this review helps those on a low income or like me, absolutely terrible sense of direction! Please visit this lovely park, it truly is a gem in Harlow! :)
