Pints are lovely. The staff are great. Beer garden is really nice and very busy in the nice weather. I've picked a slightly cloudy day though.
Had a really nice pub lunch here in the beautiful garden. There aren't many beer gardens in Edinburgh so this is a good find, tucked out the way so a bit quieter than others. Good range of beers on tap too.
Great food and beer selections at this pub! We came here on a weekday evening and it was pretty packed. Luckily the waiters were able to find us a table tucked away in a smaller room. Fun social vibe for both small and large groups. We ordered the 3 appetizer special...get the scotch egg before it runs out for the night!
Great food and drink. Everything was very clean - socially distanced tables, staff wearing masks. We felt very safe and it was lovely to have a meal and drink on a Friday night!
Lovely beer garden and good handling of COVID regulations! Had a nice chat with one of the bartenders too
This place is absolutely fantastic Much bigger on the inside and great traditional decor Great beer, fantastic food and friendly staff
Great beer garden, cute pub... But I Wouldn't bother about the food. Sausage and mash = two very cheap sausages, lumpy mash and bisto gravy. Cumberland burger = not great haggis, on a thick dry burger with burnt chips.
Lovely pub, great interior. Very kind staff who make the stay in the pub a really welcoming experience.
