Old fashioned Edinburgh boozer. Good selection of real ales at reasonable Edinburgh-sic prices. Pub shows most footy/rugby/golf. Very much a local pub and it does get very busy on occasions. No music.
Good relaxed atmosphere . Service excellent. Staff good. Whats not to like.
Good place for real ale. Pleasant bar staff. Good atmosphere. Even if you order a half they pull some through to make sure it’s fresh. So few places do that. Good stuff!
A lot of beers, not noisy so just a good place to have your pint with friends or on your own.
Well organized social distancing procedures in place. Table service.
Great wee sawdust spit on the floor type of pub great wee atmosphere even during this pandemic x
If you want a good pint, you won't be disappointed. Several real ales on top condition in a traditional Scottish pub.
Good pub for inexpensive lunch, lots of real ales , traditional in the true sense of the word. Last of a dying breed. If you are looking for organic quinoa go elsewhere. If you are looking for a fine pie and an honest pint you will not be disappointed.
Great selection of real ales, great pies and pub grub. A convivial watering hole.
