Good location with views of Pendle. Not long refurbished dining area, with plenty of seating. Small bar area, real fire and pool table, with standing areas for those busy evenings. Food ok, with all the classic dishes. Range of cask ales and beers, with a adequate range of wines. Overall a steady away pub.

Food wasn't the best took quite some time to come too , not helped by having a dog in the pub constantly barking . On the plus side drinks were good and the lady behind the bar was very nice .

Ideal place for a small party. The staff are very accomodating. Typical pub food but of a decent quality, large car park to the side and beer garden, adjacent to Hameldon Hill, with Pendle Hill visible also. Countryside views.

2 meals for £10 mon to thursday lunchtime. Had the chicken a la creme, delicious, freshly made, polite staff. Definitely going back.
