Happy Wok Chinese Takeaway

Attempted to order food, had to politely ask to speak with someone else because the girl couldn’t understand what I was saying. Had to repeat my address and telephone number several times. Paid by card, again having to repeat the long number and expiry date on multiple occasions. Food was delivered in a timely manner and tasted nice. Delivery driver was confused himself as he was given 2 bags of food and 2 receipts yet didn’t actually know which bag was for us. I then receive a call from a eastern European gentleman whom again struggled to communicate with me to say the payment hadn’t actually gone through and was asking for my account number and card details again to take payment. I then checked my banking app to see funds had been deducted from my available balance so I was not going to pay again until they had been returned successfully. He started to demand cash instead. I explained the delivery driver had 2 receipts and so how come they were produced and food delivered if they were unsuccessful in taking funds. I then became irate because of having to repeat myself yet again and he took a tone with me and said “don’t worry about it, why are you getting angry for, I don’t want to speak with you anymore” and proceeded to hang up. Avoid!! Simply not worth the chow mein.

Ordered this take out and I was massive dis appointed as it made me sick. Doddy food I would never go bad and recommend you don't either.

I've ordered from here twice and both times I've been impressed with the food! It's not incredibly cheap but I'd say you get what you pay for with happy wok, and that is higher quality. Orders arrive quickly (placed through a third-party website) and the food is hot and tasty. Their portion sizes are also just right for sharing.

Good menu. Rely good at fish dishes. Recommended giving them a try.

9 out of 10 times the food is fantastic. But once in a while they get the order wrong.
