Very bad service... First learn English and then do the business... very poor English they speak they don’t understand English properly . I ordered seafood but they gave me beef... I never eat beef n my life... but they said, I orders beef... I wasted my money and time... very poor..

Visiting from Wales to meet with a friend I've not seen in 5yrs who works on Carnival Cruise Lines. Was staying in a local hotel and decided to take an early evening walk to acquaint myself with the area and also grab a bite to eat. This place looked inviting, and I ended up ordering sweet & sour king prawn squid balls and a bag of chips. The lady behind the counter was friendly and welcoming and chatted to me whilst my ordered was prepared, ushering me to take a seat whilst we chatted. The phone was red hot with orders, demonstrating I'd made a good choice choosing this eatery. I walked back to my hotel and really enjoyed the prawns. A great little establishment, friendly and courteous staff, too.

Chinese is ok here , I mean ok the meat is poor quality but good curry flavours HOWEVER you want some Thai or Malaysian cuisine don’t bother its terrible , oily as you would not believe and a waist of time which is an absolute shame as that’s what we need in Southampton oh and the phone manor is despicable SORT IT OUT CHINA WOK my curry was split I just learned I make it myself now

Best curry iv tasted... an other food I order is just lovely always hot on arrival. 5 star food

In the past 5 years I've tried most Chinese takeaways around Portswood, Shirley, Newtown and Swaythling and I have to say that the food in this one is of the best. The service is absolutely appalling though. In fact, customer service in this place is non-existent. We called in and placed the order four times on the way from work, hoping that the food will be ready by the time we pick it up. Each time, they started preparing the food only after we paid them. So what is the point of taking the order on the phone and wasting our time? All in all, each time it took us well over an hour to get the food after calling. Last time it took almost two hours to get the food. We've been coming back because the food was so good, but now we won't be returning as it's too much hassle. The neighbourhood is not that safe to stroll around while waiting for food and the seating area in the takeaway is one of the worst in town.
