The food here was simply amazing. 5 of us went and the food was quick. Was obviously made to order and extremely filling. The chips were very large and double dipped which was great. 1 thing I would say is the lack of presentation for the milkshakes was slightly disappointing. The Oreo shake came in a large metal cup and wasnt anything to write home about considering it was nearly a fiver. When I go again I'll just be getting the refillable drink instead as it's much cheaper. This place feels like an American burger restaurant mixed with a nandos feel. Was amazing!
Excellent food and drink, fast service and very polite. Burger was extremely tasty with tonnes of flavour and a decent size, chips were fantastic and perfectly seasoned, beer was cold and crisp. Not the cheapest place but you do know you'll be getting quality each time. Highly recommended.
Fresh burgers on the dine. The staff was great, greeted us as we came in and also give us a brief information of how they run things. You're able to pick things of the burger such as changing the sauces at no extra cost. Place isn't that busy so expect only a few minutes wait.
Ridiculously thin burger; unlike anything else I’ve experienced elsewhere. When a waitress was making my desert, I witnessed her holding the brownie up to the kitchen heat lamps - the devices designed to keep cooked food warm - from the customer side of the kitchen. When I confronted her she told me that “as we don’t have a microwave...and the prep chef forgot to defrost...I used the lamp”. When I then asked the manager why this happened she told me the same - that the lack of a microwave means they defrost items like this. Additionally, I witnessed one waitress using her fingers to put ice cubes into the drinks, as opposed to using a scoop. Utterly ridiculous. Reported to the Food Standards Agency.
I wish i had read the review's before I decided to eat there as you can see the milk jug had a dirty crack in it , ordered a cup of tea the cup had brown ring stains as if it had been used and not been washed as i said to the staff if you paid more attention to detail you would have spotted this before reaching the customer . As for the burgers one plain. one peppered but lacked pepper ,special chips dont kid yourself in a small bowl with no taste to them surly at £3 a time you would expect quality .there was only one conclusion never to return again .
Just mediocre, 30 quid for 2 burgers with fries and 2 drinks is a bit expensive. Also for what ever reason they serve halal meat for appeasement
Ate with a friend on a Sunday around 1:30pm. Not particularly busy, however the service was very slow and table staff weren't very attentive. Food had been sat on the side for a while we could see it and arrived barely warm. Food wasn't anything special and definitely over-priced. Only reason we ate here was because we had a taste card giving 2-4-1 on mains. Even with 2-4-1 it was still ~£17 each for burger, chips & drink... Won't go back.
Trying hard! We visited on the first day of half term and it was obvious that the place was understaffed, we were taken to a table and our order was taken quickly. We ordered four burgers and three sides of chips as well as four drinks. After waiting half an hour the drinks had still not arrived, my wife went up to the counter and was told the drinks were just being made. After another ten minutes they had still not arrived. Finally our food arrived but still no drinks, we were told the drinks were no at being made. When they arrived my wife's drink wasn't there and she was then given a water instead of the diet coke she ordered. The burgers tasted good but two of the burger buns were stale and the cutlery was dirty. There is a new manager that had started four days ago and that s why I haven't given this review 1star because he deserves a chance to put things right. He has a tricky task ahead of him but I wish him well
My daughter and I very really excited to eat here. The person taking us to the seat was rude. We ordered food eventually when the person in charge of our table realised we were seated in his area. The water tasted like chlorine and was warm.. the food sat at the hot plate area for 10 minutes before one of the servers that had wandered passed about 10 times decided to bring the order over. The 2 burgers were made up wrong, the server argued that the two burgers were correct but they weren’t, they were 2 different types and obviously wrong. The burgers were taken back and reassembled and returned to us. The onion rings were cold in the middle.. our visit was grim. Yes I paid the bill as I was so fed up but would love the homemade burger company to offer a refund as it was SO bad. Highly unrecommended!!!
Burger was great, but 7Bone is still probably the best burger you can get in Southampton. Fries were even better, although a few more wouldn’t have hurt. Milkshake was a bit weak. Good service at our visit, and we weren’t rushed out after we finished. We’ll be going again.
