A visit to Babbacombe Bay would not be complete without visiting Hanbury's Licensed Fish Restaurant and Takeaway and enjoying their famous fish and chips.

Hanbury's has been successfully managed by David Bradshaw and owned by David and Maureen Hanbury since 1982. They have been judged as the South West's Fish and Chip Shop of the year six times in 1988, 1993, 1997, 1999, 2004, 2007 and 2011!

A visit will show you that no expense has been spared to create the distinctive decor and ambience which makes Hanbury's the talk of the South West.

The fish and chips were lovely at this restaurant. I can't say they're the best I've ever had but there's certainly up there. The staff were warm and welcoming the prices reasonable and the wait for food was short. I would definitely go back

Friendly helpful staff, great food so tasty with light crisp batter on perfectly cooked fish followed by the best ice cream, all served in a quirky resturant. A must go to if your in the area

My partner and I took our 6yr old here tonight as a treat as we normally go to the take away and all i can say is omg the quality of food and service was fantastic couldn't ask for better service. The quality of the food was amazing as always we will be eating here again
