Such a zen part of London and my yoga group love to swim after we've practiced close to the mixed pond. It's surrounded by glorious nature and has a spacious changing area along with a handy lavatory. A must-see, especially if you enjoy wild swimming. There are life guards on duty also
Such a lovely way to spend a summer day!!! We had a great time, the water wasn’t too cold at all, and it was very relaxing. If you booked a time, you aren’t allowed in to use the dressing room until your one hour window starts, so I’d recommend coming in a suit so you don’t use your time changing
Love this pond, piece of natural water in the park. Very basic facilityes but very friendly and professional staff, lifeguards. It was an experience to swimming in the pond, the water temperature was 21°c, just soo pleasant not too cold.
Heaven on earth. I absolutely adore this place and it was such a nice refuge during the hot summer months. It is nice if you can make a reservation in advance but you can also queue.
Couldn't swim as it was closed fot winter and only the swiming club are allowed until April surrounded by lovely walks
Had to book before, paid £4. The water is cold even in August with some warm areas : the only time you can go there for free I think is from 7 to 11 am but check the website and book there if necessary.
What a lovely swim. Not the warmest water but I acclimated quickly enough. Not a lot of space inside to relax next to the water - it's more about getting in, swimming, and leaving. They have changing areas and cold showers for rinsing off afterwards.
Had a very enjoyable swim here recently. It is easy to check availability and book tickets online or with the app. The water was 23 Deg and very refreshing. One thing I have an issue with is the fact that myself and my husband had booked tickets for the same session and we had our 9 month old grandson with us. I noticed the sign that said no children under 8 years old and presumed that was pertaining to swimming. Our plan was that my husband would have a short swim whilst I looked after our grandson then swap over. The attendants allowed us in with the pushchair and once I was getting settled under a tree then asked me to leave. I was so surprised I didn't have a chance to find out why. The setting and situation is no different to going to a beach so I would be very interested to know where this ruling comes from . Families are being penalised.
There is no blue green algae. Perfect place to cool down.
One of my favourite spots in London So magical!!
