Small station with no ticket barriers. Good links to Hastings, Brighton and London.

This station is situated nicely in Hampden park (East Sussex) with services to Eastbourne, Ore, Ashford Int', Brighton and London Victoria. NOT ALL TRAINS STOP AT THIS STATION! There doesn't seem to be a pattern to when trains stop at this station. the facilities are pretty poor. when asking to use the toilet I was instructed to walk down the road and use public toilets despite there being a disabled toilet in the station. There is a ticket office which seems to be open when ever convenient to southern and does not cooperate with the opening schedule.

Ok station not very busy except in mornings mostly. Nice and quiet the only problem is for drivers with the barriers constantly going down

Ticket office closed at the same time everyday for what seems to be no reason. No staff. Not much shelter. Could do with a vending machine to buy a snack when you're hungry or a drink when your train has been delayed or cancelled YET AGAIN!
