Superb service. Breakdown mechanic arrived promptly and was courteous, polite, attentive to details and thorough. Checked the fault with my vehicle, gave a clear diagnosis, then recovered the vehicle with care. Totally professional.

Cannot recommend Hammonds Recovery enough. So I got connected to Hammonds through the AA who failed to recover me. I recieved a phone call from the office, who was honest and kept me updated all the way. I had Llew the recovery driver and he was fantastic, professional, polite and courteous . He picked me up from the hotel and took me all the way back to the car and then onwards all the way home. The service I recieved was out of this world and I highly recommend Hammonds Recovery.
Don't know about recovery..but they do a great job looking after my Iveco..go back every year for a profesional, friendly job.
Rob from Hammonds was instructed by Emergency Assist to pick up our car after we had had to make an emergency stop in Long Stratton because a brake pad was stuck to a rear wheel, which was smoking badly and the car was in imminent danger of being set on fire. Rob was calm, friendly and efficient and we were able to leave him to tow the car to our local garage, which he did. Also cannot praise PC 53 Carter of Harleston Dog Section enough. He was passing by, stopped the traffic, escorted us to the police station and drove my husband 20 miles home so he could collect my car so we could get to the conference we were attending.
Police arranged recovery to Hammonds Halesworth after we hit something on road that fell from under either tractor or lorry. Lots of damage under car. Recovery guy took us to Hammonds where Sam promptly made sure we were ok and made us a cup coffee while we phoned our Insurance Co. Our Insurance Co does not deal with Hammonds but Sam said they would get our car taken to the garage and we could have a car to get us there as well to collect courtesy car. What fantastic service!! Cannot thank them enough for all their help especially Sam. Thank you so much.
Required a Luton van for 2 days hire at fairly short notice. Hammonds arranged everything very smoothly. Van was virtually brand new, full of diesel and clean. All I had to do was return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel upon my return. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for vehicle hire.

I found myself stranded 120 miles from home with my wife and daughter on a Sunday morning. I contacted the AA and Jamie from Hammonds Recovery liaised on my behalf which saved me £100 or so. He didnt need to do this it was just an act of kindness and great customer service. A recovery truck arrived within an hour and my car and family and I were transported in comfort back to Milton Keynes. Graham who collected us was a gentleman, he helped my wife in and out of the truck, helped with bags and luggage when we arrived home and even stopped for refreshments and comfort break along the way which was very good of him. I cannot praise the service and Hammonds Breakdown & Recovery Team enough and have no hesitation recommending their services to anyone who needs them. Great Job guys, really impressed Chris Rose
