I would like to give thanks to the Hames Estates team for their intuition, follow up and expertise in helping me secure a once in a lifetime purchase of a property. The quality of work was brilliant and the follow up after the sale was exemplary. The whole process in my opinion, was unsurpassed due to Joe Mackenzie's team prudence and duty of care in doing the right thing on the first time of asking. Questions were addressed in a prompt and professional manner.
The team at Hames Estates is very professional, and also very approachable. They take a personal interest to ensure they deliver an excellent service. Any questions are answered quickly and you never feel that you are a bother. We dealt mainly with Joe and Ellie, when selling our house and the whole process was painless. First meeting was with Joe McKenzie who is straightforward and honest. He takes the time to go through the process with you, including the very reasonable fees. Viewings are notified via text and email so easy to know who was coming and when. We were kept informed throughout and received regular feedback regarding viewings - the latter mainly by Ellie who is very friendly and helpful! Our house sold very quickly, and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Hames Estates to others. Thank you!!

Sold me a house, then no follow up. House fell through and was made homeless no call to see what had happened? Removed the advert on Rightmove that was on before and just re added the house to Rightmove like it had been added new. Said on the phone that their job is to sell the house and nothing more. Feel like re adding a house to Rightmove is pulling the wool over people's eyes. Why remove it in the first place if it was never completed. Kept saying things often go wrong with paperwork on new builds but then refused to answer when I asked when building would be complete as that is not their job. I feel it would be morally wrong for someone to end up in our situation again but Hames just said their job is just to sell houses. So obviously screw the aftercare unless your the seller.
I recently sold my home with Hames Estates. I simply cannot thank Eilidh and Joe enough. I decided to go with Hames after recommendations from friends and family who had recently sold property in the area. The service I received was second to none. The house was sold within a few days and from that point I was kept up to date with exactly what was going on, never once having to contact them or chase them up to see how things were progressing. Throughout the process I was made to feel at ease and that Hames really cared about me as a customer. If I was selling in the area any time soon I would not choose anyone else.
Hames Estates were professional, trustworthy and accommodating throughout my house sale. Joe and Eilidh kept me informed at all stages, responded quickly to correspondence and were incredibly approachable. I would highly recommend.
A friend recommended Joe and his team at Hames Estates and they did not disappoint. Joe sold my ex-rental property quickly, with excellent communication, realistic expectations and a very professional approach. I felt like I was their only client and I am delighted with the outcome. Being ex-rental there were a few extra things to tidy up and Joe took care of these seamlessly. Eilidh was fabulous to work with and kept me updated every step of the way. I wish I could rate higher than five stars and I will be using Hames for all future property matters.
I have recently started renting a property from Hames Estates, via Chris. The whole process from viewing to moving in has been seamless. Having rented properties in the past, it is clear that Hames care about their clients far more than the average estate agents, I hope to be with them for as long as possible! Thank you!!
